Always drinking the tea! ~ 一直喝茶!

Throughout Taiwan, every KM I see 7 11, CPC, and Beetle nut beauties [some not so beautiful] Today started, with clear and comfortable temperature. So I washed my clothes! And ate Danbing [Egg pancake] at my friends breaky shop. Met the guys from the ride yesterday, and after healthy Taiwanese breaky, went to sight see! First to the beach area, took some scenic photos with Green island in background, and ate icecream from the motorbike seller! Hao chii!!! As we rested we met another Aussie - Coincidence, but he had an advantage, a Taiwanese girlfriend, So his Chinese should surely be better than mine! However I spoke more of whatever I could, just to show off what I learned at school in Taipei, or just to practice more! We then went to a famous sweet potato place, to buy some sweet potato chips. It was full of people there. Then into a famous chicken place, then to a famous Mochi place!! AHH Taidong, oh so famous. Have to say, I just like the life here regardless of its fame. No time to order mochi.. We had to get some fruit and top up our vitamin levels. So after getting papaya, pineapple, wax apple, and guavas, off to the forest park [much bigger then DAAN in Taipei, but just as beautiful] and ate by a peaceful lake. After a nap there, back to my friend Michaels shop, to say goodbye to my two good friends, and waited for Mike to take me for a drive along the coast - yes, the same coast I'd ride along fro 75 kms tomorrow.We saw so many monkeys, who were fed my tourists many many Vitamin c filled Oranges. So cute though. After more eating at a famous Steamed bun place in Donghe, we then went to his Godmothers place. She was a devout bhuddist, with a big house in the mountains! So peaceful, we drank tea and ate sweet potato and nuts, surrounded by her cute 6-7 dogs. She was so kind, and such a funny, smiley person. She also gave a big donation, I was greatful for! Ofcourse. Actually, she reminded me of my Grandma a little! We drove back to the city for some hot noodle soup and crunchy stinky tofu, not the same as yesterdays! Then rode around by night; he hadnt ridden a bicycle in 7 months he says. I was not happy about that! Finished the day with sweet ball ice desert, at another famous place! mmmmm!
